As part of a prime contract with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for Professional Project Management Services, CMTS currently serves as the Owner’s Agent and represents the DFW Board interests.

All work is implemented and managed according to Federal, State, and Local guidelines as well as DFW Construction and Fire Prevention Standards and Design Criteria Manual. Services include: Program Planning, Project / Construction Management, Contract Administration, Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Code Inspection, Plan Review, Inspection, Records Management, Project Forecasting, and Environmental Management.

For the Maintenance and Operations Department, CMTS provided quality assurance inspection of work within the airfield boundaries overseeing projects like runway and apron rehabilitation, cathodic protection systems, surface movement air guidance systems, airfield lighting systems, and airport fire and rescue facilities as well as runway and taxiway repairs. CMTS also oversaw the refurbishment and upgrades of the Perimeter Security Fence at DFW to include outside perimeter and AOA fencing, all access gates, and the installation of razor wire top security. In addition to the heavy-duty chain link fabric, the installation of wireless remote screening security access gates with crash barriers was incorporated into the perimeter network.

CMTS personnel, served as the Owner Agents, managing the access and activities on the worksites coordinating closely with Airport Operations, FAA Ground Support, Airport Emergency Services, Department of Public Services, Asset Management, Airport Development and Engineering, and the Environmental Affairs Department. CMTS also provided services as a sub-consultant for the state-of-the-art automated people mover service known as the Skylink Automated People Mover (APM) system, a 50-foot elevated, bi-directional, guideway spanning 4.81 miles above ground and connects existing Terminals A, B, C and E with the new international Terminal D,.CMTS administered the safety inspection and provided scheduling support to meet the construction deadline.
